This is a nickel-free stainless alloy, which while it's not as shiny as chrome steel, allows slaves who have metal sensitivities to wear our products for the first time!
Our stainless is a little brighter than our old cold-rolled material, and can be polished to be quite reflective. What we're aiming for, however, is not the brightest, shiniest collars around: we're dedicated to producing a quality product that is going to last. We think you'll be very pleased with it.
Stainless steel is the default material for all our shackles and collars. Since stainless steel isn't magnetic, we can't fashion any of our shackles and collars in stainless with magnetic closures. While stainless is much less likely to cause skin reactions than other steels, some few persons are still too sensitive to metal to wear it. If your slave can't wear any jewelry other than high-karat gold, it's likely they won't be able to wear even our stainless steel models.
